It is in a miami Craigslist but shipping from Portland OR. Also, why would a breeder use Craigslist for morph sales when there are so many better options to reach people who would appreciate it.

i have seen spiders, cinnies, lemons etc. on craigslist. Just because they're community savvy enough to have gotten a snake of decent lineage doesn't mean they are fully aware of things like BPnet and KS. *shrug* I don't think it's that weird or unlikely. Maybe they are just trying to reach a more local market??

I'd be pretty cautious about it anyway, like any other CL dealing, but i would hesitate to declare the whole thing bogus.

i wouldnt buy a snake off craigslist (or any animal for that matter) but hey thats just me.. i have heard of some great experiences and ive heard of some pretty bad ones too. I have purchased tanks, exc that came with an animal but thats about it. You just dont know what your getting IMO.

i met a guy named Dale through CL. He sold me a couple beautiful breeder girls for a pretty damn good price. I went to his house, i saw where they lived and their conditions. One of the girls was a rescue, and he made sure to tell me about her history (previously badly maintained with terrible husbandry, now perfectly healthy) The guy obviously knew a thing or two about what he was doing, and i got a good feeling from him overall, so i went for it.

Both girls have locked up already this season. woo.

Craigslist has a smaller pool of available buyers, so sometimes the prices reflect that and you end up getting a great deal. Of course, you have to know what to look for and proceed cautiously.

Morphie...I agree with you in principle...but in this case this seller is in Portland Oregon and is trying to sell the snake in Miami. All the way across the county...not a local market sale.

if i was to buy a snake off of craigslist i would believe the total opposite of what the add says

male=female
female=male
morph=normal
normal=morph
het= nah no hets for me off of craigslist

p/s nothing wrong with getting snakes off of craigslist, just don't think your getting exactly what they say your getting, but most of the snakes on there need somebody to take them quickly away from the people they are with!
