acu-rite question?

    acu-rite question?
    i just picked up an acu-rite thermometer. just wondering what temp im supposed to go by, they in or out temp. i have the probe under my paper towel substrait under his hide on the hot side.

    then what is the in temp? and if thats true thats messed up my thermostat only says 82 so far, i just set it up and the out temp says 104. dont worry my snakes still in his aquarium still. but do you know why this is. i was told to put the probe under the substrate on the hot side.

    that's right.

    In is the unit itself. It reads Humidity and In temps.

    i cant figure out why its giving me a crazy temp like it is. its saying 110 degrees when my thermostat is only at 88 right now and the cool side is still at 70 degrees. does anyone know whats goin on?

    well yesterday after struggling with it for hours because i couldnt get the temp about 75 on the hot side i switched it to right next to the flex-wat as to where it was right on top. and it worked beautiful last night but im wondering now if it was because i wasnt using an acu-rite thermometer. i dont know though, maybe i should change it back to on top of the tape and see what happens.
