    Colour of lentils in feeder mix?
    I was sure I read somewhere that a certain colour of lentil was harder for rats to digest?

    I was using red in my feeder mix... but recently added some green. I notice them picking up the lentils now... whereas before the red were always the leftovers in the feeder cup.

    Yes, no? Or... "it is a lentil you fool... it doesn't matter!"

    PS: What other dried peas/beans, etc. might be good to chuck in?
