    small bump on ball python
    hi everyone, i am a friend of isadoras. I have a question if anyone would like to help. my new ball python has a small internal bump on him. it is located about an inch and a half from his head. u can roll it around and if u push lightly it will disapear untill he moves again and then it comes back, any ideas:please:

    I've never heard of that but it certainly doesnt sound good. How long has it been there, or when did you notice it?

    Thank you for the reply. I just purchased him yesterday and after letting him settle for a day to lower the stress. When expecting him a little while ago I then took notice of the small bump.

    when you say "internal" what do you mean? Is it right under the skin?

    yes that is what I ment by internal. I took him to my vet today, he said that is nothing to worry about. He said that it really feels like it is just apart of his scales, he said it a little more scientific, but I told him just to summarize it for me. So he is going to be fine. Thank you everyone for their help.:D

    where did you buy him? from a pet store, breeder, previous owner?
