ok, so that was spelled wrong, forgive me..

so what are your thoughts, do most people take cameras to these shows? i have a canon rebel xti, not exactly a camera you slip into your purse.. do people take well to taking pictures or am i better off just leaving it at home and enjoying the show with my eyes lol

    Etiquette :)

Just take your honker camera, and take pics.

Be respectful (duh), and just be aware of others.

Most people will even take the animals out of the case for photos if you ask! :D

I got some killer shots that way, and got to hold some awesome animals to boot!

I take my camera and take a LOT of pics.
Unfortunately, my camera skillz are lacking, so I rarely get any good pics, but I take tons. No one has ever seemed to mind. Matter of fact, some of the nicest, kindest, and most friendly people I have ever met are at the shows.

hurray.. thanks sarah. i might take my camera, we always do have lots of fun at shows this will be the first one we get to go to without the little people so we will have a much better time not dealing with "i have to go potty, im thirstys" lol

I typically ask but sometimes i think it's really not necessary...because I always get the "of course you can take pics!"

If I had a table at one of these shows, I would be excited that someone is interested in one of my animals enough to take a picture of it...I wouldn't have any issues. Unless it was a person i didn't care too much for.

thanks for your answer nate.. well im a big time NO BODY in the reptile world.. while we have had herps for years we just recently started going to shows, so really were pretty much unknown. I will be sure to let everyone know how it goes tomorrow when we get home.. i do have my camera on the charger, while it is fairly large I figure it cant hurt to take it along :D ive seen/read they have lots of rare alternative pets, not just herps.. like all white skunks, exc.
