Hognose Morphs
Sorry if anyone's getting annoyed about these threads I keep on posting regarding something to do with Hoggies, but I prefer to actually ask people my questions instead of just looking for the answers elsewhere on the web. What kind of different Hoggie morphs are there and do they cost a lot more than normal ones? If someone would post pics that would really help.

Re: Hognose Morphs
there are quite a few morphs. Honestly, you're best bet is to go looking, there are many pics out there from several breeders. BHB, Justin Mitcham or Richard Evans being a few.

I will second this. If you want to learn, your best bet is to go looking. It is not that hard.
And morphs do cost quite a bit more than normals. ;);)

I third that, a lot of great hognose pictures out there. Searching is the best bet, as I don't think most people happen to have a snake encyclopedia on their computers. Go to the major breeders sites, and see some awesome specimens. I love the tri coloreds.

Sure, I know that, but how much more do they cost than normals?

Ryan,
Rather than ask the questions here, why don't you check out Kingsnake classifieds. There are hognose snakes as well as morphs for sale and you could get a better idea of what you are looking at.
As mentioned earlier, try doing a bit of research on them. There is lots of info posted out there on the web and even more on breeders websites that have been listed. It is easier for us to answer more specific questions than lots of broad based ones.
Those of us that have been around a while had to start the same way we are telling you; by research. We didn't all have forums like this to ask questions on.

Re: Hognose Morphs
Tricolor hognoses snakes are acutally a different species of hognose snakes.
There are red, green, and albino morphs that I know of for western hognoses.
This guy has some pictures of the different morphs.

I don't know the names of any breeder sites! Besides, I've checked everywhere and I still can't find a site that shows the prices!

Re: Hognose Morphs
Have you tried emailing the breeders? Have you tried calling them? Alot of breeders are willing to tell you how much they charge if you ask them. ;)

Never mind, the link to CF snakes gave me the answer. Hoggy morphs are rather expensive. I think I'll stick to getting a normal.
