    KSB escape attempts??
My KSB got out last night and luckily i found him iunder my bp's cage but for some reason he keeps trying to escape and i dont know why. temps and humidity are textbook perfect, not sure he keeps climbing the same corner of the cage and falling down.

    Help im going crazy:rolleye2:

Snakes escape if there is a way to escape. My anery KSB was named Houdini b/c no matter how hard we tried, she escaped the tub she was in all the time. I finally had to move her to an aquarium with an escape proof lid.

he's doing what snakes do............he doesn't know any better, you have to keep him from escaping, if you know how he's getting out, your half way there!

Is his substrate deep enough that he can burrow all the way and feel secure? Sometimes they try to escape more when they're hungry too.. is it close to feeding day?

Yes, for a KSB, the substrate needs to be at least as deep as twice the snake's height so he can feel a little weight above him to help him feel secure. Also, what kind of lid and clips do you have?

    Good luck!
