Speaking of fridge incubators, how do you make them lighter?
Im also going to convert a fridge, but I need to get it from the garage, where the temps will get too hot during the summer to the basement. How can I reduce the weight. I know I have to just take all the stuff out the back, but is there a way to go about doing it?

Legally you will need a professional to remove the freon...then just use bolt cutters to cut all the tubing and such away. The compressor and electronics will just require some screwdriver work and they will come out.
But don't expect miracles in the weight...remember the outside of the fridge is wrapped in steal and it just isn't going to get that light. ;)
