    Our sons newest
Well after taking care of Harry for the last couple years. Jake, our son, decided he wanted to breed snakes like mom and dad. He saved up his money and we took him down to a friend of ours shop so he could pick out a little girl for his rescue. The little kid even talked them down $5 in price lol. It's the same deal as with the other one. He takes care of her with our supervision and is learning all he can about ball pythons. He even pays for her meals out of his allowance. He has already started talking about wanting rodent pro gift certificates, more ball pythons, his own little rack for his birthday, Christmas, anything he thinks he can get a gift out of lol.

So here he is with his newest Charlotte a pretty little pastel sib.

He is 6 now so he won't have any eggs until he is about 9. But I am sure he will be working with Lori and her clutches over the next few years learning all he can about it.

He has taken a big interest in all of what we do. I own a company that does irrigation, landscape lighting, etc. He wants to go out with me too and learn that buiness, but of course I have to pay him so he can buy more snakes lol. He already has a growing list of things he wants. A pastel, a spider, the list goes on and on.

For only being 6 he acts like a much older kid when it comes to things that are important in life.

That is so wonderful. We have a 6 yr old, too. And if it weren't for him turning 6, we wouldn't have gotten our first BP! He got Mr. Snake for his birthday. So we have him to thank!

Awww he's too cute! Our kids all have their own snakes and our 6 year old loves to help out with cleaning the snakes and the rats we keep. I think all my kids have learned a lot of important life lessons through our family hobby of keeping snakes. I really never thought about that aspect of it but it's been a joy to watch them mature through their interest and love for snakes. :)
