    python thread
I am just curious, well maybe even interested in knowing all the python species and there genera.

I looked up and it said there were 8 generas and 32 species.
If someone knowledgeable could provide me with the list of species and the generas which they belong to, or a website where i can find a list, please post it.

One of my life dreams would be to say that I have a breeding pair of each python in the world.

ETA: I don't see Liasis savuensis in there.. the savu python. It is the most recently discovered species.

via ITIS = Click on each genus for a full species listing.

Also, wikipedia has a full breakdown at a glance at:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...and_subspecies

Savuensis is shown as a mackloti subspecies.
