Milk Hybridization

I really need some opinions. Me and my brother wanted to breed a couple of milks next season and that was the plan until one of my brothers professors told him that it is hybridization and it is considered to be ruining the gene pool. I don't need anybody to tell me what hybridization is or anything, I just want your opinion. I know the superball is a big debate but how frowned upon is this cross?

The first one may or may not be a hybrid. He doesn't really look pure honduran, but it may be just an odd aberrant. This is the danger of crossing species.

The second one is NOT a pueblan, not a pure one anyway. It may well be a honduran/pueblan cross, but it is NOT pure pueblan.

I breed milks, and have produced king/corn hybrids for years.

When in doubt, if you really care, pass or assume that you have gotten a hybrid and sell your babies as such.

There are plenty of hondurans out there, peublans too, that you should have no problem getting pure breds.

Why do you want to cross them? The crosses are easily available too.

What are you planning on breeding to your milks to create a hybrid? Or are you going for intra-specific hybrids?

So long as you don't sell hybrids as pure snakes I see no problem with it. They both have the same ancestors anyway.. I don't see the big deal with hybrids, many occur naturally anyway.

I really don't know much about this. This is his project and he wanted me to do this so any false information is my fault. My brother lives in Texas so our communication is limited. Thank you for your opinions.

I interpreted that as 'he wants to cross a Honduran with a Pueblan'.

Unless you are using a very little Honduran male with a Pueblan female, you will have a high probability of achieving a meal for the Honduran.
