    Any one know how large a tank i need for a 4ft green iguana.

    A tank is not adequate for a green iguana, you want to provide your Iguana with a large enclosure and keep in mind that height is very important.
    Ideally since this iguana is already 4 feet you want to provide him with an enclosure that will last him for the rest of his life and the minimum would be 8X4X6 as green iguana reach up to 6 feet if properly cared for.

    Yup, what they said. No iggy should be in a tank, especially not an adult. These guys are climbers and need lots of height in their enclosure. If you live in a mostly sunny and warm area, such as Texas or that area, you can do what I did for mine and built a wood framed wire cage to give them the air flow and warmth outside (except in winter of course, then the cage comes in). Otherwise, look into a nice enclosure that will give the big guy plenty of climbing and romping room. Id say a good 8'x6'x6' would be nice.
