    My Holdbacks
These three girls are my current holdbacks. I guess I've had black/white offspring for so long, that once I got another color, I had to hold it back!

The three of them together (kinda)

Oh Robin they are all darling. Hope and Joy will carry the Dumbo gene so that might be fun for you and Daisy looks so much like Foxy! I adore beige and white rats. :)

The one in the first pic in the top left is a perfect bareback!! I held back one girl that looks just like her, and named her Lucky.

What Robin uses and I use too is a dry mix based on Becky's suggestion (there's a stick on it in the Feeder section). The rats do seem to do really well with it, very healthy and don't waste much of it at all. I change it up with whatever's on sale and also whatevers in my dry stock pantry (ends of cereals the kids have left, bits of pasta left in the bag, etc.)

Ha! And that's the "cheap" blend (I can't believe I said that word). I normally pick up Kashi cereals when it's on sale for them. You can't see it either, but I also mix in songbird bird feed (sunflower seeds, nuts and fruits). And I was out of oatmeal for this mix.

They all have their favorites (and it's usually what another rat is eating! LOL)
