How to heat a T3 from AP?
I'm thinking of buying the T3 which is 36x24x12. I have a T-stat to regulate the UTH heating device they'll build into it. I'll probably buy it with the two
8 1/2 circles on the roof to allow placement of heat lights. I plan on having both day and night bulbs to regulate a coolside 80-84, hotside 90-94. Any suggestions on the wattages I shoulde get.

I ask b/c after buying a 10 gallon aquarium I ended up buying 40, 60, and 100 watt day bulbs. And 40, 60, and 75 watt night bulbs before I got the temps right. I would love to get it right on the first try with this new enclosure.

Don't get the cutouts, I guarantee you will regret it. Austin is in a T-10 with the cutout on the cool side and I supplemented the belly cable heat with a CHE for a long time but it sucked out all the humidity. I got the replacement cutout piece for the hole but it isn't perfect. I think you would be WAY better off getting a radiant heat panel for the cool side. I posted pics of my setup after I got the RHP and I wish I had done it that way from the start. I haven't had to spray my cage since I got it. They are a little pricey but SOOO worth it in the end and since you have the smaller T-3, you shouldn't need a big panel for the extra heat. Please re-consider getting the cutouts, you'll be happier you didn't in the end.
