My sumatran doesn't turn even the slightest bluish hue. The only thing on him I notice is you can actually see the old scales seperating off the new ones.

What's yours weigh? Age? A very very pretty black. I've got a brongersmai. And I'm itching to get a black so bad!!!! The darker the better!!!

Well on 10/3 she weighed a measley 813 ;) She hatched on 06/06. I've never seen her turn this blue, but this is only the second time she's shed for us as well. It just surprised the heck outta me when I did a tub check this morning, and I had to snap a pic of it. She's taking halloween seriously over here. Puts my costume to shame. >.<

    Sweet. Mines around 1500+
How often is yours shedding? You said it was the second shed with you. I went through my first one a while back. Just curious.

    What's she eating?

Well we got her on 8/24, and she shed on 9/10. She's currently eating small rats, 50 grams.

Hmm. Mine shed a little after yours in september. Around the 20th he went blue. I wonder if mine will follow the same schedule as yours and be getting ready to shed soon.

Good looking snake. I can't say it enough. I'm a sucker for the short tails.
