at least the snake lived and went to a good home... That's actually a good story as far as not sensationalizing things... such as "the snake was hiding in the toilet so it could eat her when she sat down!"

I heard that it was a 7 foot Retic in Park Slope, Brooklyn , NY....(I heard it from a person who does rescues in Brooklyn...)

Why does this never happen to us? Those of us who love snakes? If that happened to me I'd say "JACKPOT!" And boom I got a free retic :D. Imagine you were to buy a snake of that size, it may cost you a fair bit, and this lady just gets one for free, I'm jealous. I'm glad at least she had a friend that took it.
