Really... thats great news for me. I just found out my female is large enough to breed. My buddy is a breeder and told me he would give it a shot. He had to hold her for me for a week or so anyways while my house is being worked on. So he put her in with a carmel male breeder.

    Wish me luck!

if they've only been together for a week, you may or may not have a successful breeding.

    What's your girl's stats? length/weight/age?

They will breed whenever you want them to. I know someone who breeds in spring/summer so she gets babies in the fall/winter. But most people start breeding in the fall/winter.

If she is near 4.5 feet long and only weighs 1300 grams, I would reconcider breeding her. Reproduction is quite taxing on her system and if your measurements/weights are close, I wouldn't say she has enough weight on her.

Most breeders say 1500g atleast for a female. 2 years old atleast. If your female was say 1500g. You cant just go by weight. Like the above post says if shes say 5 foot long. At 1500g thats to skinny. Now say 1500g at like 3 1/2 feet or 4 then maybe. I dont breed till mine are atleast 2000g. If they are fat enough, but not to fat. If they have enough size on them they come back better after breeding. Start eating sooner and get back up to size faster.
