    Funny little guy.
Man i wish my camera was charged (lost my cable) my little sumatran hasnt been eating because he is sick, but I figured i would try today anyways. At first he was hesitant but then he slowly came outta his hide and just ever soo gently grabbed the mouse outta my tongs. it was kinda cute cus he didnt even coil around it he just started swallowing it. just thought i would share. He is a very calm feeder he has done this before. strange little guy.

Mine does that too. He doesn't have the fierce strike like some bloods have been told to have.

He does coil up on it though. He just doesn't have a real fierce strike 90% of the time.

My bloods do that now too. It's funny to see a 5' long snake gingerly pick up a big rat and proceed to calmly swallow it.

Haha why do they do it? Isn't it in they're nature to try and get it as quickly as possible and start constricting? Why the such calm disposition?

My ball python is just a little baby and she's lightning fast! And fierce. The blood is just non shalonat (sp).

I think they're just conditioned to eating prekilled prey.. some snakes keep doing the killer death strike though.

I always thought with the mouse dancin around the tub with my tongs he wouldn't know the difference. Hmmm....

He's smarter than I thought. He still coils up real tight when I giggle it after he grabs it though. So all is good.

Wild. I've never seen that reaction out of my short tails.
