hes telling me its normal that the bearded not to eat which i can see cause hes stressed but he flat out told me he didnt know what the babys problem is to keep in contact with him if it doesnt eat in the next day or so.. d*^& it!

thank you for the link, i some how knew this wasnt going to go well.

edit: the place is davie, the person was craig and his girlfriend (forgot her name) we got the baby at flamingo gardens reptile expo and sale.. he was the best looking person in the place.. there were a few other people there but didnt seem to be as knowledgable as these people... they also had a few other nice looking animals there too.. even informed me (when i told him i got a 3wk old crested from another place) they would never sell an animal that young cause there are too many unknowns as to whether or not they would make it.

I wish i could have helped you with this before you made the purchase. But everytime i make a reptile purchase online i check the boi first everytime, unless i've done business with that person before.

All i can tell you now is find a reputable beardie keeper on this forum or other forums and get some advice asap.... So you can get this little guy up to par. Good luck

well, when you know better you do better...

dang it. i feel bad for the hundred other people that bought things yesterday and dont have a resource like this to go to. im hoping my little spartan does alright.. his other option to me was to bring him back and get another one if he doesnt start eating by tomorrow.

edit: i hate the idea of "trading an animal back" i despise that

Well the same thing goes for shows as well. If you plan on attending a show i would get a list of the perspecitve dealers attending and bounce that list off the BOI. I dont expect everyone does this, but its a good idea isnt it.....
