    Success!!!
I know it's tacky, and there's a million of the "my BP ate for the first time" posts, but my spider girl just ate for the first time with me! :carrot:
It's exciting because my first two BP's ate either the day of or the day after I brought them home. Well, miss priss decided not to go down that route, and made me wait a few days before she even thought about showing interest in the rat pups. I guess it's just reassuring to know that she's comfortable enough to eat in her new home ^_^. I'll post some pics soon.. possibly tomorrow though.

Since she's been pretty shy lately, I only took one pic as she struck the rat since I didn't want her to a.) refuse to eat after she killed the rat and b.) regurge if I took a pic while she was eating, so here it is

Haha, ya. Apperantly my girl is a little piglet, cause according to her feeding records, this is the 15th time that she has eaten since her hatching date (7-3-07). So yay for the "piglet" gene! I'm glad to hear that Spidey is doing well also! ( Must see more pics! I can't get enough of spiders for some reason).
K80tik- I didn't even realize the newspaper caption until you mentioned it! That's hilarious!

Thanks for all of the comments. It's good to know that she at least knows how to constrict without me having to interfere with the tongs. I swear my pastel male is so lazy that he just does a 'snatch and grab' hold, and I usually have to prevent the rat from biting/scratching him too bad. Crazy snakes...*shakes head*
