I seriously need some advice on which display tank to buy?
I've looked at several different sites (Animal Plastics, Boaphile, Repti-Racks, Reptile Basics), but I want to make sure I choose the right tank for my BP. I'm thinking of getting a 36x24x12-15. I want something that will look nice, provide space for me to create a natural looking envirment, last for his entire life, and most importantly hold heat and humidity very well (since my house gets very cold in the winter & a large aquarium just won't cut it).

I also want to know what the best methods of heating are in these tanks. I realize many of you don't have these enclosures, but if you were going to get one in my situation which would it be?

Any advice even remotely related to this would be awesome.

Well, I intend to build my display cage myself...but while making plans I looked at almost every cage site I could find. I know that Animal Plastics are rather popular, and don't look half bad... but after I spoke with Rich of Reptile Basics by phone about his cages and how I should go about the plans for my own, I would go with his cages were I to change my mind about building myself.

He is the most knowledgeable man I have ever spoken to about reptile caging and heating. If you can, you should aim for one of his cages first, and Animal Plastics second. That's my :2cent: anyway. :)

I love our Animal Plastics enclosures. They hold humidity, heat nicely (they come with their own belly heat, just plug it into a t-stat and you're ready to go), stack, and all around look great. I'm in the process of decorating them now, and definitely intend to buy from AP again in the future. The customer service was great and we adore the end product. :sweeet:
