    Help getting tempature up!
    Hello my medium sized ball python is in a 30 gallon tank. The warm side is only getting to around 85 degrees. I need to get it higher. Should I get a ceramic heater? If so what size would you recommend? Thanks

    Well....my very best recommendation is to try a plastic tub. And if not that...then try a smaller tank.


    Beyond that...it's really hard to know what to recommend because I don't know enough about your setup. What are you using for heat now? How cool is the cool side? Ambient temps? Do the temps in the room it is in fluctuate a lot? (Such as drop significantly at night) What are you using to measure these temps?

    Have you a tried a heat lamp on one end of the cage?
