new to snakes

Hi all. For a few years I have wanted snakes, because they fascinate me and I like them alot. I recently Came across this on a site for my home town.

Description I have 2 baby male ball pythons that I may have to get rid of. Right now my landlord is trying to evict me for having them and I am fighting it, but if unsuccessful, they will have to go. They are both healthy and eating small mice. If you purchase both, everything will come with them. "

I called him, and They come with everything the pythons will need, but I think I will just go out and get everything new, because they are in a 10 gal, so I defiantly want to get a way way bigger tank for them. I asked him if he fed them frozen pinkies, and he said they are both eating frozen adult mice just fine, so I think thats a good sign. I would like some tips, info, links, and possibly a list of good items to get them. I really am new to them and need help with what to pick up, so a list would be very nice. He is also giving me a free gecko because no one could take it, and that also comes with everything.

the 10gal should be good for one of them for awhile but a good deal of people here will suggest housing them seperately. take a long stroll through the husbandry section and you will learn alot from other members here.

yup i'm not going to claim to be an expert but housing them together could end up harmful to both snakes, while it's don't definite that it would happen one of the snakes could eat the other...again idk what the chances are but it's happened before. Plus it ads extra stress to them as bp's are solitary animals (except in mating season when they should be housed together)
