    A way to keep track
I am working on a proboards forum that will enable me to keep track of my herps online. Currently I only have a few herps but each has their own little profile. When I eventually expand into breeding, there will be sections for pairings, clutches, ect. There is also a visitor forum where you can leave messages, hellos, questions, and reviews. Feel free to review even though its not done yet.

I am confused (I know typical :) ) is the point that only you would post in each forum...sort of a blog about eat snake as a way of keeping track of everything? If so why not just use dedicated tracking software (like Degei)...why a forum format?

Because this I can access anywhere. If I am at school, I can easily bring this up and change things, look at records, ect. Not to mention I have no access to internet at home at the moment. Its been down for over a month. I can get to information about any of my herps from any location by using a forum format.

Ok..so why is instant access to the data necessary? What sort of data would you change that needed immediate access? I am not trying to be an arse just curious if there is some benefit to having instant access.

I just like being able to get to this kind of information anywhere. Not to mention, my fiance can view it and change it anywhere as well.
