Phantasm snake! He crawled into this large teaball (which I'm sure smelled plesantly of mice as it's what I used to use to use to defrost them in) and coiled himself up. He seemed quite content to let me snap a few pictures of him in sphere.

I found him curled up asleep like this in one of my chopstick boxes after a jailbreak. He went all of... a foot from his cage.

I love the little bridge cage toy...I was seriously going to do up my corn's cage like a japanese garden with asian-y garden fish toys...just...never got around to it. =P

Those are some pretty snakes. Makes me want to get another king. :rockon:

Each of my snakes has just cried out for a different theme (the newest little one, Ochoa, his theme is... mausoleum! And Voodz is turning into the kinda place you expect to hear the drums of the cannibal tribes... LOL!)

Both Rhy and Voodz have since moved up to bigger, more overly decorated tanks. Rhy now has a darling teapot that he uses for a hide (although I'm looking for a bigger one for when he outgrows it, which won't be too long!)

Nice snakes and tanks, is that sand for the substrate?

Yep, that's reptile sand. The kingsnakes LOVE the stuff. They seem to really enjoy burrowing around in it and tossing it around with their noses. It's especially cute when they play "Sand boa" and burrow down so just their head is showing.

In fact, Voodoo seems to enjoy sleeping on the sand more than in his hide, especially if I make a dune of it in one corner for him to lounge on. I guess he likes the soft. Then again, both he and Rhy like those little pet tents, too.

And the lines they leave in a freshly laid bed of sand is so... Zen. ;)

LOL! I just have to get my camera working. You reall have to come see the new redecs. Although I need to get some more hooks from the store because Voodz keeps collapsing his ivy by trying to sleep on it... the ones I was using are crap for a snake his size.

The suction cup hooks we're using for the flower vines in Ma-tsu's tank keep falling down too, it's cute how she thinks they'll hold her weight :P

I'll upload pics sometime this week and post them. :) I have a bunch to share of Neptune and his new aligator friend too, lol, he loves that thing! And yes, we gotta get over there and see the new set up!
