How much would i expect to pay for a rtb rack?
Not sure of the brand name but my breeder has one for sale. It is all hard plastic with sliding glass fronts all heating included and a cheap but effective thermostat and there are three cages in it. He said he would sell it to me for 500 bucks oh and they are 4ft by 2 ft high perfect for and adult. How much would you guys pay for a used rack with at least 3 cages. Or if you live any where around wisconsin and are trying to sell i just might interested.

Five hundred sounds like a pretty good deal for that... it sounds like an actual cage system more than a rack.

I just made a rack a few weeks large enough to hold six adult boa tubs. It cost me around $200 for supplies (I used good, sturdy wood, removable shelves, and am planning on using a gloss finish), $75 for flexwatt, and I already had a thermostat (say another $100).

    Here's the thread: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...ht=sunday+rack

This will be able to fit baby tubs and neonate tubs on up through adult tubs. I imagine I will have to get cages for the big breeding girls... probably 4X2 cages like you are talking about, maybe 6X2.

I guess my definition of rack includes tubs...

    Hope any of that helps!

Now is that really all you need for an adult boa one of the bigger rubbermaids. I used them for my ball python but decided it was too big for her. What size tubs are they are how is your big girl liking it? I always thought you needed a big ol 4x2 cage.
