I have been keeping a ball python for my bud who is in iraq. I've had him for about 2 months and I've gotten really serious about taking good care of him. He is 3 years old and has been kept on damp soil for all of his life. I have read different theories on what kind of substrate is best for a BP. Will damp soil really cause respiratory problems? I mean, it hasn't harmed him so far...
