Plastic tubs.

Can anybody post some pics of there plastic tub or rack enclosures, i just would like to get some ideas and maybe a little help on setting it up correctly for an adult male and for a female.

Heres what I got for my tubs...

1st one is a baby tub(66qt)... the green bowls were only temporary until my black zilla hides came in.. all 3 of my babies look the same... this is my Mojave Mary Jane

2nd one is what my yearlings use to be in (96qt)... Before I moved them out into their new tanks I added an additional hide to each tub but again in this pic theres only 1 bc i was waiting on the shipment for the black zilla hides.

last one... These are the new homes for my 4 1yr olds... 4X2X1.5ft... Theyre loving the space and it makes me not feel so bad if i dont take em out bc they still got a good amount of room to move around and exercise when theyre awake at night... These are stacked 4 high but I couldnt get the 4th one in bc it was too high

Thanks for the pics, one more question, does the heat tape go directly on the plastic tub. i was just wondering if it would in some wat warp the plastic after prolonged use.

In rack systems the heat tape isnt on the tub itself, a single tub setup you would probably want to find a way to have the tub sit on the heat tape but be able to take the tub and wash it and everything without messing with the heat tape. I hope this makes sense.

I used the zoomed heat pads with my tubs and yes it did kinda warp the plastic and made it bend up a little... Just make sure you tape down the outsides all around the heat tape and you should be fine... The heat will still transfer through the plastic... As far as cleaning once its taped on... I use baby wipes every week when I clean the tubs out and dry it off with a clean towel n it seems to work pretty good... Kills 99% of the bacterica and what not every week so you shouldnt have to soak it or anything but you always could if you wanted to youd just have to take the heat tape off.

Just make sure you have a tstat's for your heat sources....

< flexwatt on thermostats(Helix, Johnson Controls, Herpstat 2), no tub warping.
