    Reptile Show in Iowa
Is there a reptile show coming up in November which will be held in Des Moines? I know there is that 3 day event held over the weekend where Dave Barker and various other herpers are to speak, but I cant find anything on the actual reptile sale....such as show times and addmission. I am contimplating on driving down for the day from minneapolis to attend seeings we dont get much for shows up here. On a side note, does anyone know if there are any shows in Wisconsin?

Sorry, Jerhart, you JUST missed the breeder show there.

The Omaha, Nebraska show is this Sunday, though.

No, the Iowa show was already done like a week or two ago. The symposium is a talk, and NO reptiles will be present. Just pictures.
The next show coming up is the one here on Sunday, and then there's a big Chicago show coming up not too far down the road.

WRONG!!! The Symposium is an entire weekend event with socializing on Friday night, Speakers all day on Saturday, and a Live animal sale on Sunday. I've even got a table so I KNOW there will be live animals there. Some of them will be mine.

Well that's odd, I read somewhere that it was strictly talks and such. Let me see if I can find where I read it. Someone's written some misinformation on it. It must have been something fairly official, since I just filed it away in my head. I remember it was an article on the symposium, too. Did they originally plan it that way and then change their mind, maybe?
*this is gonna bother me til I find the thing...I hate when that happens*

Here's the official page for it:

Might have to see if I can make it to that one, too.

It's odd that they forgot to put it on the itinerary. The Midwest Symposium is a traveling show that moves around to different states throughout the Midwest every year and is put on by that states herp society. I've been to several of them throughout the years and there has always been a live animal sale at each one I've attended.
