    Interviews
So I ditched my old job in search of one that would help me along the road to Vet school and found that my current school schedule conflicted too much with the Vet offices in the area. Totally frustrated, I looked online and found that I could apply for an internship at the Cleveland Zoo this coming summer. They reserve up to 10 spots per year for college students majoring in Biology/Zoology. So I'm definitely doing that. Way too far away to put into my pocket now, though, just thought I'd tell everyone.

But! I applied at my local Petsmart, which is surprisingly good to their animals from what I can see, and they called me back today! I have an interview tomorrow at three. They said that one of their Pet Care Specialists quit a few days ago and they liked that I put on my app that I had experience with reptiles. So fingers crossed that I get to work the most with the little lovelies.

    Wish me luck!

Awesome! Petsmart is probably one of the most professional pet stores around. They're animals are well kept. The one by my house doesn't keep snakes, but they do hold many other herps. I think Petsmart should buy out Petco.

    Anyway, good luck!

Just wanted to let you all know I landed the job! I'll be working in the Pet Care department. The manager was actually very forward about how strict they are with keeping to the guildlines of the company when it comes to keeping the animals and it seems very nice. I like her already. Apparently anybody who messes around and neglects details of the animal's enclosures aren't kept around for long.

    Excited! :carrot:
