snakes on carpet

can you put your snake on your carpet....i just want to get an ok before i do it

i do as long as it's clean. and i'm sure i've seen other people post pics of theirs on carpet

Mine's afraid of it! I guess he doesn't like the feel of it, but the only way he will go on it is if you just put him down, and he starts looking for somewhere else to be right away. :)

I don't see a problem with it, as long as the carpet is clean and the snake does not have mites that could spread into it..
