Gwydion... (couple pics)

Well, I have one kid home! Lol... Marc Solis of Marc's Reptiles has been very kind in holding onto this little guy for me, but wasn't able to hold him any longer. I explained the situation to my parents and they agreed to let me bring him home---hopefully, if I go slow, I can talk them into bringing more (Thanks to EVERYONE who's helping me out!!!!).

In any case, I wanted to share a couple pics of this little gem. Decided to name him Gwydion...

He was pretty stressed out. There were no overt signs of aggression, but he shied at every tiny movement and kept his head and neck in that tight S the entire time. Definitely almost got away from me when I tried to put him in his tub, though! LOL, I forgot how fast the little ones could be... Kinky and her big butt have me out of shape!

There were no feeding records, so I need to get those from Marc... but other than that, excellent guy to do business with! As I said, he was more than willing to help me out many times!

Gwydion is a hypo 100% het for anery... 100% double het for ghost! I think he's going to make some beautiful ghosts someday......

OMG Lynn He's BEAUTIFUL! Congrats hun! I bet you can't wait to breed him later on!

I just got my first one about a month ago, lucky you its always so exciting to wait wait wait then get one and then have two wait anothe whole week to actually take it out, ha. The little ones are fast. I have mostly ball pythons but i had to take a dip into the boas. They are soooooooooo much better. I can't believe how easy it is to feed. My balls all eat regularly but most sit and ponder when to make the move. RTB just say ohhh food wham, its done and over. And they are so much smoother than balls. Oh im in love with my boa. As soon as i build my sub adult rack (hopefull by next week) ill get my little guys better halve. A sub-adult double het for sunglow, same as the male but he is just a baby. I can't wait. Hypos are so cool aren't they.

Awww does he need an old blue pillowcase too? What a cutie he is Lynn, congrats on getting him home. Morgaine's very impressed with her future hubby!

Lol, we had a little go-around last night. He spilled his water bowl and soaked everything, so I had to pull him out again. LOL.... he was NOT happy about that. Hissed every time I touched him. Again, no striking, but was definitely getting the point across: "Lady, leave me the hell alone!"

It's so different with the little ones! The last little boa that I've dealt with was Sev, and he was bigger than this when I got him (and of course, Sev has always had that "Eh, whatever..." attitude... you know what I'm talking about Jo). Dealing with Big Butt Kinkers has made me forget how FAST they can be when they're this size, lol.

In any case, thanks for looking! I'm excited for my future ghosts! :D
