Albino cost

How much do albinos run? Is there anywhere you can get a cheap albino online?

They run from $800- $1500 it all depends, but the more expensive ones have a higher contrast... I personally would go with a high contrast and pay a little extra.. Just my :2cent:

You could always do the het thing. Will take more time and you have to know who you are buying from, but not as much of an up front cost.

The het way is going to be a thing of the past fairly soon I think, unless the prices come down for female hets. Why spend 400$ for a pair of hets and raise them for 3 years before even getting a chance at an albno. When you could save a couple dollars and just buy one straight up a year later.

i think hets will be around for a long time. they are a good way to outcross. alot of breeders use morph females for double,triple het projects.


i think it depends on what you want to do also. if you just want an albino, buying may be better? if you want to produce albinos, having alot of het girls is a good thing!

It takes time my friend.. I wanna get like 4 more balls, but I gotta wait to save, trust me the longer you wait the better it will be.
