    Plant mold.. anyone??
Okay I was just doing my normal weekly, bi weekly watering. I have tons of plants. There is one spider plant I have upstairs, its always been full and healthy. I just went to water it, there is some Radioactive bright green looking mold growing all over the soil. Not the actual plant, just all over the soil. It wasn't there two weeks ago for sure, I don't remember seeing it last week.

Anyone ever see this? Its my our bedroom and I am supersensitive to molds and allergens. You think I should toss it out?

Just re-pot it. Ditch that soil and put fresh soil in... and wash the pot well first.
Also, knock the soil off the roots and gently wash them before re-potting.
I've gotten that and other types of molds and fungus (even mushrooms) growing in my house plants from time to time, especially when the weather/seasons change and yes, it will just pop up one day when a spore gets into the house.
It's probably more like a fungus than a mold, especially if it just suddenly appeared in such quantity so quickly.
