    python trying to escape?
Why is it that every night when my python is up he always is hitting his face on the metal screen as though he wants to escape. Maybe curiousity? Im guessing that at least some of your guys pythons do this to. Does anyone know why they do this though  ?

curiosity... trying to escape a place they are put in so they can choose a place?... my two BP's do it nightly. i just make sure they cant fall on something hard and usually just let them be. but i did have to move my temp gauge because my male would crawl up on it and have no way down the silly jerk!

I have my 3 1/2 month old 1.0 normal in an 18 gal hex tank. I originally put him in there because he loved to climb so i gave him the height to do just that. But after a while i started hearing these weird noises. realized it was him falling from the top of the tank to the ground then getting up and doing it again! :slamhead:

So i took the reptile hammock from my beardie's tank and put it in his. Now he falls on that instead.
