Dirt under scales from bedding?

I started using the coconut bark type bedding suggested in a sticky on here. I was just wondering if anyone has noticed some of it getting under the scales of their snakes? I noticed it on the albino yesterday when I picked him up. I first let him slide through a towel to get the loose stuff off from the bedding. That is when I noticed what looked like some left over but under his scales. I know it's not mites as I checked him before buying him. Thankfully being an albino it was easier to do. :)
So if it is just the bedding, will it bother him or hurt him in any way if left there?
