    My Computer Died
Don't know if anyone will care, but just thought I'd let you know that my computer is dead. Borrowing my son's computer to send this. Don't know how long I'll be offline.

Well, I'm back, at least for now. Worked on the computer some this morning, and I really don't know what I did to get it running again, but it is. Went ahead and reinstalled Norton Antivirus, and defragmented the C: drive. No viruses found, but man, was the c: drive fragmented!!!!

Sean, thanks! I spent a couple grand building this dinosaur several years ago. At the time, I was making good money, and spared no expense in building it. In the last couple months, I've lost half my memory (computer's, but mine's not so good either), battery backup, monitor, ???... Got a fan going out somewhere too. If I could just replace the missing memory, it would still be quite fast. Right now, I can't even afford to pay attention much less buy a new computer!

Joe and Shannon - Thank you! I hope I'm back!!!

That's what you get for letting shadowspiders crawl around on your computer. :P
    Be mindful of your earlobes.
I'm glad you got it working. :D

Thanks, Denise! I haven't seen any shadowspiders lurking about. I'm still somewhat intrigued by the earlobe thing, though! Have to put the dog outside to ensure no blood is drawn.

    ;)

It's good that you've got it at least partially working again. I'd be in so much trouble if my went crazy. I'm so computer illiterate it's kinda sad. :P A friend of mine's stepdad built my computer for me in high school, but it's still a pretty good computer.

And thanks for the reminder to defrag my stuff!! *It kinda needed it!* ^_^
