    Rattie treats
I usually give my ratties some of what we have had for dinner a couple times a week. Today was ham & asparagus fett. I have never in my life seen them so gung ho for people food (and if you have ratties, you know how food motivated they can be!) Each tub got one noodle, peice of ham and peice of asparagus. It was so cute to see them begging for more. Seems this has trumped eggs :D (I know it is my favorite meal!)

I give my ratties leftovers, and tonight it is ham here as well. I love to feed off leftover spagetti noodles too. On special occassions they even get the leftover chocolates from holidays, in small amounts. My rats LOVE when I come in the room. :D

The rats get whatever is left over. Pizza, pasta, vegetables, chinese food.

I also keep a big bag of dog biscuits on hand and give them some pieces a couple times a week.

If we ever do a rattie trade for new bloodline, I'll make you some. Nothing like homemade alfredo sauce.

Jamie, I never thought of dog treats, I bet that is good for their teeth isn't it?

That's right I almost forgot. We need to figure out how to work that out. I just picked up 20 new girls (and 2 boys) to improve my bloodlines. I also finally some good litters from my blue girls (Het Dumbo's - YEA).

Not to mention some yummy alfredo sauce (all this talk of food tonight is going to make me have to go raid the fridge soon  )

I have 4 litters ready to pop any day now along with 4 more within the next two weeks or so. My Dumbo Siamese are almost to breeding size as well. I am not too sure on breeding them though, I don't know if the genetics on dumbo/siamese are ok to breed or not??? Let me know what you are looking for and I will hold a couple back for you. I'm self employed as well so I am always ok for a road trip

Our rat colony loves my rattie bucket I keep in the fridge. It's just one of those big plastic icecream pails that I scrap leftovers into every night and it's a gawd awful looking mess but man do they love digging through it for their personal favorites!
