Anyone have a BP set up in a Repti-rack enclosure?
They seem nice and when I eventually get Rocky a new/permenent home I think I'm going to stray away from aquariums. His temps are fine in his 10 gallon, but I realize it will be more difficult in a larger enclosure. They seem like nice displays.

Hmmm, noone huh? I know they're more popular for aboreals, but they also make them for ground based snakes. I'm not ready to buy yet anyway, just researching.

yeah they do look good, but I'm getting a RhinoRack from Boaphile sometime soon, they sound better, plus I have heard good things about them, how many snakes do you plan on getting?

I'm not "planning" on getting too many :D . Right now I just have one BP, but I definetely want another snake. In reality I'd like to get a BP morph or two, a GTP, and posssibly a Red tail boa. If I do get all those it will be over the course of 5-8 years at the bare minimum. Truthfully, I'll probably only get one or two more which is why I want nice display enclosures, and I'm not too concerned about being economic.
I was looking towards the terrestrial cages on the Repti-rack site.

I've got a Repti-Rack enclosure for my GTP.

Great cage!! Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

Yeah, they do appear to be the best for tree snakes, and if I do get a GTP one day I'll buy a cage from them without a doubt. I'm really just wondering if/and how heat would be applied underneath as belly heat for a BP. I was under the impression that their heat panels typically heat from the back or side. I'm sure they'd be willing to help, but until I'm actually ready to buy I'm trying to research else as much as possible.

On a site note... How's the temperment of your GTP? Do you handle it?

Well from what I heard, a GTP doesn't have the greatest vision, their mainly thermal vision, so when you stick your hand in the enclosure, they'll probably think its a nice warm meal. Correct me if I'm wrong.
