    Tank Improvements Update
Hey guys just thought you all might be interested in what i finally did to my tank. Im still waiting on the textured background I ordered but it already looks so much better in my opinion. Here is the before and after pics. Sorry about the pics being so big. Im still trying to figure out how to make them smaller. Darn my dad for buying such a nice camera lol. When i crop them it still leaves them huge so I appologize for it but here they are.

I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager to make them smaller!
You may or may not have it!?!?

Looks very good, and I'm sure your BP likes the new vines.
I'm wondering if you have the temps in the hides??
Cause sometimes it can be cooler or even hotter depending...
My hides are actually almost 10degrees warmer on the hot side. and the cool side is actually cooler inside the hides! I'm working on fixing that but it's something for you to think about!
    Snake looks good too!

I havnt checked the temp in the 2 hides. I probably need to do that. I have the thermometer probe on the warm side opposite of the light to check the temp of the UTH. I have it barried just under the surface of the substrate that way i wont accidentally think its poop and try to take it out like i have done before lol. I have an extra digital thermometer so ill use it to check the temps of the hides.

Ya he does. He usually comes out at night and a few times during the day but stays in his caves most of the time. He likes curling up on the big log in the top right fork and hangs out. As far as the temps inside the cave they are the same as everywhere else. Just one or two degrees off. 90-93 on warm side and 80-83 on the cool side. Usually stays around there but my room temperature fluctuates some so the temps in the tank fluctuate a few degrees here and there but not enough to cause concern. The cypress bedding has really helped with my humidity though. It was staying at a constant 40% but the cypress has bumped it up to 50%. I always keep damp paper towels in both caves so both of his sheds have been really good since thats where he does it. I just cant wait for that textured background to come in cause i really think it will add the finishing touches to it. Im just not too crazy about the white poster board for the back though the plants and the darker substrate have really made a huge difference.

    Ringo,
You can also open a photobucket account(100% Free) and upload your pictures/files there. That site allows you to resize your images.

I had thought you were talking about a paper background, like the rolls they have for fish tanks. For a cool background, you can also buy that foam spray from a home improvement store and make your own. A lot of people with dart frogs use it to make custom backgrounds. You can spray it on and shape it with ledges and duggouts for live plands, then cover it with coco fiber or moss while it's still wet to give it a natural look. I don't remember the sites offhand, but I'm sure you can do a google search for it. I've seen some really cool ones out there, and there's one site that has a good walk thru on the whole process.
