    Australian montior??
We went to the a local guy here who just got in a new monitor and said it was austalia and for the life of me I can't figure out the name any more. It is a really bright green color and at a yr and a half we about 2 feet with tail. We put it on hold for now till we see if we can properly care for it yet I can't find the poper information on it. Any ideas? I know it started with an A but yet no other clue lol.

If you can post a picture of it, someone should be able to ID it for you. The only bright green monitor I can think of right now is the Green Tree Monitor. Might google that and see if the pics match up to what you saw.

Actually I looked through some pages on here and found the pics of it. Its an Argus and the color is not excatly bright bright but still that green. We are really debating getting one now since they can be so aggressive by nature and we don't know how much it was handled as it grew.

From your signature, I guess you got the argus.

Be careful....they have one of the strongest feeding responses I have seen.....a finger mistaken for a rat can put you in the hospital very quick. They are animals that must be respected....not something to 'play with'.
