i want to adopt...

so i just got home from getting a mouse for my little guy. and whilst the dude was gettin the mouse for me i looked around and found a 55 gallon tank with about 6 or 7 rather large balls. i could name a million things wrong with the whole set up but yall can picture it.

so i was checking them all out and most of them looked fairly healthy and there was a huge female (im guessing from her size) about 4 feet long i'd say. she had no place to hide, a heat rock, and it was just so crowded. they want 100 bucks for her and i cant resist, they said she's been up there for a few months so they dont think she is going anywhere so that gives me time to set her up a home and save up some money!!!

so i want to get this big girl and give her a better home. what size tub would a big girl like this need? 41 qt??

41 qrt is a good size for an adult. Good luck, sounds like she needs a good home.

Good luck - as they clearly haven't been able to sell them before I would try to negotiate the price down a bit - pick a kind staff member and guilt trip them about their poor husbandry and explain that you will look after her well. It can't hurt!

Make sure you have it sexed before you buy it. Males can get just as large as females.

well. male or female doesnt really matter to me. i only have one BP right now and want a larger one super bad. i dont plan on breeding for a while, i need more experience and research.
