how strong are your balls?

I have been looking through your pics you have taken of your BPs. there are a few that have like a timeline with then and now pics. its really nice to see how they change over time.
anyway, as mines only a littlen, i was wondering how much stronger they get as they get bigger and mature i.e grip hold on your arm and if they could break bones or choke if wrapped round your neck?
im just curious thats all and thought it would be interesting if people could share their experiences!!!

they get pretty strong but not enough to break your bones or strangle you. when i first got mine i could barely feel it tightening around my arm but now it's a battle to get him off you can deffinetly feel the muscles contracting.

Mine have withstood many kicks, knees, elbows and I even sat on them once or twice. As far as I know I'm still fertile. Soooo...I'd say mine are above average strength. ;)

I keep making my girlfriend hold my BP to get them Acquainted. Yesterday she started flipping out b/c he was and I quote, "constricting me like he's going to try to eat me." For those that don't know my BP is still about the same size as it is in my avatar. He is all muscle, but really :D

They can't break your bones but an adult could strangle you!

are you sure? i thought they had to be over like 8' or 10' to be able to strangle you

To be able to body constrict you to death, sure... but an adult BP, if you didn't put up a fight, could easily strangle you...

mine are like 2 1/2 years old- 3 1/2 ft. don't have a scale for them so i don't know weight. but i'm pretty sure they could strangle me. after a fresh shed, they are grippier, so when they're around my neck, they unintentionally get tighter as they try to move and i've gone red in the face a few times. but since they aren't actually trying to hurt you, you can unwrap them easy enough.

My adult girl, who I recently measured at 4 feet 3 inches long and about 2000 grams could easily strangle you. I can't let her wrap entirely around my neck because when she's moving she'll tighten her muscles and grip around my windpipe, cutting off my air unintentionally just with her weight and trying to move. When she wants to stay on my arm it's definitely difficult to get her off, and if she gets herself wrapped around something and doesn't want to let go, it can be a fight to get her loose. She's pretty strong, I think...XDD but maybe it varies from snake to snake. She definitely isn't strong enough to break any bones, though. (Except maybe rodent bones!)
