    Whoo hooo!!
After a couple LONG months of getting my ratties set up the way I want them, I finally have a couple waddlers :D While I have had my breeding stock pretty well set for 3 months, I have not thrown males in with the females up until last month. I wanted to make sure everyone was on the best food possible and that the first round of girls were up to weight. I started this all (over again as I almost switched to f/t) with 5.30 just over weanlings so it is finally almost starting to pay off. Pretty soon it will be no more buying rodents, getting a bit pricey at almost $300 a month. Hopefully this week I will see the first of the little ones :carrot:

Congrats...That is awesome and so much fun to watch them waddle around...so how do you have them setup? With 5 males and 30 females you could quickly have LOTS of babies. :D

Wow that's lots of females! I'm still short on females and resisting the urge to run to the pet store for some. Congrats on your first upcoming litters. I just popped in to check on the rats and have a new litter of future feeders this morning with her breeding buddy ready to pop at any moment too. I love the sound of newborn rat squeeks in the morning LOL.
