Yup! Mark picked up a large female out at his mother's place in Canada; it began screaming profusely. It is a defense mechanism that can definately scare a predator into dropping them..

my cat likes to catch bullfrogs and make them scream like that. then he will bring it inside and let it run around. funny stuff.
