    Weight gain
I have a habit of weighing the snakes before each meal. Sadis and Xefaud were fed last Saturday. Weights were at Xefaud- 64g and Sadis- 81g. Their meals were small mice, once each. Both ate and no regurge. We weighed them today before thier meal. Xefaud - 73g and Sadis - 93g. Is this proper weight gain or are thier bellies still full?

And also, Xefaud showed no interest in eating tonight. We fed them fuzzies since the petstore was out of hoppers and the small mice were too big. They were to get two fuzzies each. Sadis slammed down two in a matter of minutes. She's not a shy eater. Xefaud however didn't even show much interest in his meal. Any ideas why? We did feed one fuzzy at a time to each of them. They are in seperate tanks at all times. We even left the fuzzy in there with him and left the room and turned off the lights.

best time to wiegh your snake is after a BM. I ussually wiegh after each shed because most of my BP's tend to shed and leave a mess to clean up. That way you know you are etting there empty wieght.

I was under the impression that a hatchling BP could take an adult mouse...

We've given them small mice before but they could not take a fully grown adult mouse. Mine are on Hoppers but we had to resort to fuzzies this past feeding because the petstore was out of hoppers.
