Is it strange that bp's don't use hides anymore?
I have three BP's and 2 of them who have been with me the longest don't use their hides anymore. They are on newspaper, and just like to curl around their waterbowl. Is that a bad sign? On the other hand, our baby girl who is relatively new (about 1 1/2 week now) still uses her hide.
Does this mean that they will eventually NOT use their hides?

sounds like somethings up. i never see my ball out of his hide unless he is hungry. are all the temps/humidty correct?

What type of enclosure do you have? Are you using a rack with dark sides to it? I have heard others post on here that some of their balls don't use hides and may not even provide their ball with one if they are in a dark rack enclosure. If this is not the case then I would have to let some of the more experienced on here answer your question. I am curious myself.

Tony,
Without knowing anything else about their setup, it sounds to me like your enclosure may be too hot. Hatchlings don't typically bowl wrap, unless they are trying to cool off. With that said I would recheck your temps and be sure that the ambiet temp and warm side temp are not too high.
