    Found!
My yellowbelly baby male got out a couple weeks ago. I had all but given up hope of ever finding him.

Yesterday my roomie was out back and there on the porch, basking, was Nolan, the YB. He had some cobwebs, and was really dehydrated, but he's safe and sound and happily toasty in the rack with everyone else.

    I'm so relieved.

    So. relieved.

Cool heres hoping that you don't loose him again. :D
Make sure you give him some Q-time to check for wounds, or anything else that he might have gotten in to while he was out and about

I was cleaning the rack after an overly-exhausting weekend. I took him out, set him down, and went to change his water or substrate or something and got distracted somehow and forgot to put him back before i declared the enclosure complete.

I thought he was hiding and didn't notice his absense for a day or so, and then i remembered what i had done (but couldn't remember putting him back). It was a horrifying feeling.

Next time I'll wait until the following morning if i am that out-of-it, unless there are any urgent or pressing concerns.

Quarantine time is a good idea, but my back-up thermostat seems not to be working, and i haven't received my replacement yet. I'm out of ideas except to give him his own drawer in the rack for now.

He should have his own tub, or did you mean shelf.

The Q-Time is more to assess any injury's or medical problems that might be a result of his adventure :D.

    Best of luck

Yes, he's housed alone. Thanks for the advice :) He looks alright, but I'll certainly be keeping an eye on him.
