    Rememberance of Steve Irwin
Just wanted to remind everyone that may have forgotten that today is the one year anniversary of Steve Irwin's death.
While not everyone liked or appreciated his style, he was an original.
He brought conservation of animals and the securing of habitat to the forefront.
He will be missed but his presence is still felt.

I believe it's because if him that many of us are here and were shown the beauty of the animals that much of society considers ugly. He is gone but his lessons and passions will be with us forever!

    Crikey we miss you Steve!

That's an amazing visual Raul, thanks for sharing it. Steve Irwin brought so many people into a better awareness of our wild creatures. Our family has many wonderful memories of watching his antics on tv. I loved how we learned so much from his obvious joy and love for his crocs. I'll always remember how hard my son Luke took his death....his first experience with the passing of a hero. :(
