Help with cage building.

i need to know what kind of primer or coating to put on the wood. I also need to know what material to use for the floor. i want to have an undertank but i dont know what i should use for the floor yet. any and all tips would be appretiated! thanks so much!!!!

U could use a wood or melamine floor, but your UTH would have to have some sealed plexiglass, acrylic (or something) over the top. I was looking at the design where there's a slit in the back for the UTH to slide into, the acrylic is sealed and protects the UTH from moisture.
